The courses are divided into four modules that cover the fundamentals of Signals and Systems theory, including the basic concepts of analog and digital signal processing. Time and frequency domain concepts will be discussed, including Fourier and Laplace methods. MatLab© programs (m files) will be provided to execute many of the required analyses. The normal mathematical background of a graduate engineer is required.

This fourth course in the Signals and System Series addresses Discrete Transform Concepts:
      Discrete Signals (sampling); aliasing
      The Discrete Fourier Transform (FFT)
      Difference Equations and z-transforms

This course can be taken by itself; however, an understanding of the fundamentals is essential for the Remaining courses.

Successfully complete all 4 courses within a two year time period and receive an Signals and Systems Series Certificate to acknowledge your competence in this topic area.
