Artificial Intelligence

Have you ever wondered how machines can behave like an intelligent entity? Have you ever been curious to know how self-driving cars operate? Are you fascinated by how intelligent agents like SIRI, ALEXA interact with human? If all these sound interesting to you, you have come to the right place. In this course, you will be introduced to the exciting world of artificial intelligence including basic concepts like search techniques, probabilistic reasoning, machine learning, etc. This course will contain both theoretical lectures as well as insightful toy hands-on examples.

Course Objectives:

     1. Get familiar with the basic concepts of intelligent search techniques.

     2. Get familiar with the basic concepts of knowledge representations and reasoning.

     3. Get a high level overview of how artificially intelligent agents can make decisions under uncertainty.

     4. Get an overview of biologicially inspired AI techniques.
