The Electrical Power Systems Professional Certificate covers the fundamentals of Electric Power Systems from the viewpoint of the nonspecialist. Topics covered include primary electrical distribution systems; three-phase systems; wye, delta connections; substations; transformers; lighting loads, motor loads; power system surge, overload, and fault protection; UPS systems and power quality.

These courses may be taken by themselves. An understanding of the fundamentals is essential for the remaining courses, however.

Successfully complete all 4 courses within a two-year time period and receive an Electric Power Systems Professional Certificate to acknowledge your competence in this topic area.

Purchase Options: Each course can be purchased separately. However, it is recommended that most students take all four courses, and in the recommended order (1,2,3,4), since there is some cross-referencing between courses.
