The AS 9100 standard defines quality system requirements for organizations who design, develop, or provide aviation, space and defense products or services. Internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits are required for those organizations whose quality management system is certified to the AS 9100 standard. This AS 9100 Internal Auditor Certificate Series is for anyone in engineering, technical, quality, leadership or management positions who may be, or who would like to be, a part of your organization’s internal audit team.
This certificate series addresses the required competencies for AS 9100 Internal QMS auditors and will help participants fulfill the requirements to be an AS 9100 Internal QMS auditor in their organization. The AS 9100 Internal Auditor Certificate Series, provides an understanding of the AS 9100 standard. Insights and practical examples from decades of internal audits are used to help participants understand process auditing principles and practices as applied to AS 9100 requirements. It includes using the international QMS auditing standard, ISO 19011.

The instructor for the AS 9100 Internal Auditor Certificate Series, Davis Woodruff, has over three decades of practical experience serving clients on 3 continents and in 35 states. He has been providing guidance and assistance to companies implementing quality management systems for over 3 decades. Davis has been on the ground floor of each revision of the Aerospace specific standard beginning with initial release of the AS 9100 in 1999. Davis and his firm, Management Methods, Inc., also routinely conduct internal audits on behalf of dozens of clients throughout the U.S. He is a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) 176 which assists in formulating the U.S. position to the International Organization for Standards (ISO) on the ISO 9000 family of standards.
