Dr. Michelle Sidler, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Auburn University, where she teaches classes in writing, rhetoric, technical communication, and science communication. Sidler has taught technical writing for over twenty years, including as a part of Auburn’s Master of Technical and Professional Communication program; she also administered Auburn’s Composition Program from 2006-2012. Sidler has published 16 scholarly articles and book chapters about writing and teaching and is currently finishing a book manuscript about scientists’ digital research and reading practices.
