This course is the first course in the Electric Power Systems series and covers the fundamentals of ac single- and three-phase circuit concepts. Fundamentals and overview; ac circuits: voltage, current, impedance, power; three phase ac circuits: wye, delta connections.

This course can be taken by itself. An understanding of the fundamentals is essential for the remaining courses, however.

Successfully complete all 4 courses within a two year time period and receive an Electric Power Systems Series Certificate to acknowledge your competence in this topic area.

Purchase Options: Each course can be purchased separately. However, it is recommended that most students take all four courses, and in the recommended order (1,2,3,4), since there is some cross-referencing between courses.

Electric Power Systems Series: Four courses, 12 hours = 1.2 CEUs
