The technology of state High Accuracy Reference Networks (HARNs) and Continuous Operating Reference Stations (CORS) will be described. The method of establishing 'GPS Derived Orthometric Heights' will be covered in detail. A description of the Russian GLONASS system and the new European GALILEO system will conclude the seminar.
